By registering as user on the Careers website of QAFCO (“hereinafter: “Careers”), you voluntarily provide QAFCO and any members of the QAFCO Group (QAFCO and QAFCO group members are hereinafter jointly referred as: “QAFCO” or “Company”) with your personal data (hereinafter: “Personal Data”) and explicitly consent to collect, process, store, transfer, delete or erase (hereinafter: “Process or Processing”) your personal data and use the gathered information subject to the guidelines as described herein.

Upon registration, you acknowledge that QAFCO, as a global corporation, uses multiple systems to share human resources and/or recruitment information to effectively serve its unified recruiting processes. QAFCO may Process Personal Data manually, electronically, or automatically by the authorized employees thereof, and/or by authorized third parties (hereinafter: “Third Party” or “Third Parties”). The internal policies and procedures of QAFCO follow the international and industrial standards and practices; and comply with the applicable data protection laws. Any Personal Data Processed by the Company will be handled with utmost security. Any authorized Processing of Personal Data by Third-Party will conducted with strict confidentiality and security and under the same rules and procedures that are applicable to QAFCO on data protection and data privacy.

Your personal data will be Processed by QAFCO solely for human resources and recruiting purposes and to enable the Company to contact you about potential job opportunities in the future.

Upon registering to Careers, the Company may collect your personal data, including but not limited to your IP address, name, surname, date of birth, address, telephone number or email-address and use cookies and other Internet technologies as referred to within the QAFCO Privacy Statement (http://www.QAFCO.com/corporate-en/legal/privacy.epx). By registering to Careers, you confirm that you are interested in the conclusion of employment relationship with QAFCO, and you will voluntarily provide your personal data to be used for recruiting purposes relative to all open positions at the Company, including beyond those for which you have specifically applied. The registration process is the default setting of the application procedure.

Upon registering to Careers, you agree that QAFCO may contact you for human resources marketing purposes. Should you no longer wish to be contacted for direct marketing or market research purposes, we will respect and act accordingly to your request. To submit any request to the Company, please use the following contact email: careers@QAFCO.com.

QAFCO does not sell your personal data to third parties.

If there is a matching job opportunity at QAFCO, the Company may forward your personal data to the responsible employees of QAFCO, to evaluate your submission and contact you for interview or any additional requests. You may review and/or update your profile anytime and submit a request to the Company to correct, delete or temporarily lock your personal data or your profile. If you do not update your profile within a period of two years, QAFCO may send you an e-mail asking you to update. Should you decide not to or fail to update your profile by the given deadline, your profile, including your personal data will be deleted.

Please use only private e-mail addresses for registration or requests, as QAFCO will only respond to your private e-mail addresses.

You may withdraw from your application any time. In that case your personal data will be deleted according to the applicable laws and internal procedures of the Company. Your personal data will not be deleted, however, for a certain period, if you have released it for registration purposes. In this case, the process described in Section 1 applies. Please use only private email addresses for registration or requests, as QAFCO will only respond to your private e-mail addresses.

Anonymous Surveys

QAFCO is continuously seeking the improvement of its processes. Thus, the Company may reach out to applicants or former applicants with active accounts, to voluntarily participate in anonymous surveys. The aforesaid surveys will either be conducted by QAFCO or Third-Party. If the survey is conducted by Third Party, only your e-mail address and the reference to organizational unit at QAFCO will be shared. The survey will be conducted in anonymous fashion and any data that you have shared, will be deleted after the survey has been adequately completed.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google™, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. UNIVERSITY GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AT QAFCO

QAFCO’s Graduate Development Program is strategically designed to align Qatari graduates with the company’s evolving operational needs. The program is meticulously structured around three core principles:

 

1. Competency-Based Training: 
Our focus is on developing the specific competencies required to excel in the designated roles within QAFCO.

 

2. Diverse Work Experience: 
We ensure graduates gain a broad range of work experiences, crucial for the holistic development of their professional competencies.

 

3. Progressive Responsibility: 
The program is tailored to gradually increase the level of responsibility and accountability of graduates, preparing them to take on full professional duties within their targeted positions.

Diploma Programs (DP)

These programs are designed to prepare Qatari Nationals for various staff positions and serve as a stepping stone towards university education.

Eligibility for DP:

  • Qatari National under 25 years of age.
  • Chosen field of study aligning with QAFCO’s operational needs.
  • Identified target position within QAFCO by HR or the relevant department.
  • Acceptance of diploma study plan by QAFCO, including any foundational courses if required.
  • Compliance with additional QAFCO criteria as needed.

The Technician Certificate Program (TCP)

QAFCO invites Qatari Nationals, post-Secondary School Certificate, to join our workforce as process operators and maintenance technicians. The TCP equips candidates for specialties in:

  • Process Plant Operation
  • Mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Instrumentation

Eligibility for TCP:

  • High School Certificate recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
  • Fulfillment of program-specific entry requirements.
  • Field of study aligning with QAFCO’s operational needs.
  • Qatari National under 30 years of age.
  • Successful interview outcome.
  • Clearance of QAFCO-directed medical examination.
  • Completion of company and government recruitment formalities.
  • Adherence to additional QAFCO criteria as applicable.
