All the campaigns place a lot of emphasis on interaction and discussions with children on various good environmental habits and their views on how to protect and sustain our environment. Along with group discussions, presentations and quiz competitions are conducted that target specific age groups. In previous editions of World Environment Day, environmental activity booklets were compiled and distributed to children from various schools from across Qatar. These booklets comprised of color pages, crosswords, quizzes, questionnaires for children of various ages. Apart from this planting campaigns were also conducted where children plant his/her favorite flower during the campaign. The aim of such planting activities is to help a child understand the importance of protecting our trees. The children are then entrusted with the responsibility of caring for their plants within their school.
